25 Random Facts

25 Random Things about me.

I got this forward on Facebook and thought I would post it here.
1. When I sleep my sheets have to be tucked in and straight... it bugs me if my covers are going every which way.
2. I love to watch people react to things. I try and figure out how they will react before the reaction actually occurs. I like watching people during movies, especially if they haven't seen the movie before.
3. I love milk. 2%. I believe a glass of milk makes everything taste better.
4. I hate going to bed when people are still awake. It makes me feel like I'm missing out on something.
5. I never push the snooze button. It makes it too hard to wake up the second time my alarm goes off so I don't even give myself that option.
6. I go through phases with what pajamas I wear to bed. I have favorites. I'll wear a certain shirt for a few days then get sick of it and start wearing a different one. I always wear basketball shorts to bed though, I can't sleep in pants, it gets too hot.
7. I hate crumbs on the counter and on the floor. That's my biggest pet peeve ever. Crumbs on my feet annoys me so bad!
8. I buy things that have quality to them. My philosophy is that if you're going to spend money on something you might as well buy the best quality available of that product. That's why I hate Wal-Mart.
9. I wear my hair the same every day. I've never been good with making my hair look good.
10. It drives me nuts when one of my nails is shorter than the rest. Also, my nails can't be too short or too long.
11. I hate spelling or grammar mistakes. There's no excuse for not knowing how to spell. Everyone should know how.
12. Weekends are for play... I have a hard time working on the weekends. Also, on a Friday or Saturday night you should be out, not just sitting around doing nothing.
13. I can't handle too much cheesy stuff, it drives me crazy. It's more of cheesy people that I can't be around for too long. Too much happy can get old really, really fast.
14. I get sentimental, and it makes me cry. At big events like weddings, baby blessings, family reunions, Christmas, etc. Times when the whole family is together are really special to me because it doesn't happen all that often.
15. I love my mom. I look up to her so much for everything she's gone through... not only that, but also for the way she lives her life. If I could be like her in the littlest of ways I could be a better person.
16. I've never really liked dinner rolls or anything really bready. I think they're heavy if that makes sense at all. Except for croissants from Costco, they're light and airy.
17. I like talking to people and getting to know them better. You can never know someone too well. I didn't even know why my best friend's dad for a living until a couple years ago. On the other hand, I'm a great listener. I'm usually pretty content just listening to other people talk and I jump in occasionally.
18. A couple years ago I ran into my mom in a dark hallway and broke her nose. She's taller than me by a couple inches and my forehead goes right up to her nose. Oops.
19. I've always wanted to live in a big city even though secretly I know I'd probably get sick of it and hate it after a while.
20. I hate mushrooms. I've never liked them ever... not in my entire life and I probably never will. They're squishy.
21. Miracle whip is better than mayonnaise. I don't care what you say.
22. I'm very protective of my stuff. If you borrow it, give it back. If you wear it, wash it. If you borrow money pay me back dang it!
23. I don't like buying things. Except for clothes. I buy those too much.
24. I don't have my ears pierced. My parents always said that if God wanted holes in our ears he would have put them there in the first place.
25. I hate it when people are loud while me or anybody else is sleeping. That's inconsiderate!

Photography in General

Photography is a different way to look at things. When looking at a photograph the object/subject almost seems more beautiful than if you were looking at it in real life. True, it can also be argued the other way, but a photograph is a reassurance that what you're looking at is beautiful. The eyes can only take in so much of a particular scene at a time. A photograph is able to record a moment in time, which can be later looked at again.

There are so many different components of photography. One object can be photographed a million different ways and it can look completely different in every shot, because there are so many different components that the photographer has control over. As the photographer, I have control. I can make people see what I see.
